2020 was a challenging year for our community in so many ways, and 2021 brings with it both continued hard work and the promise of recovery. Which is why now, more than ever, our local government matters. For the past three years, I have been proud to serve this community in the Monroe County Legislature, always focused on ensuring you understand what Monroe County does, who pays for it, and why it is essential to care. But my work is not yet finished.
My goal as a County Legislator is to deliver smart, practical results for the county. From the earliest days of my career, I’ve fought for the policies that mattered most to our children and our community. I have a simple planning process – What do you want to do? How do you want to do it? And how are you going to pay for it? – which I have carried with me from my days as a school superintendent to my time in the legislature. Feedback is critical to ensuring government is responsive to the needs of our community, so my door is always open!
